She / Her

Catherine Kradel

Trainer

Hi all! My name is Catherine, a lot of friends call me Cat (she/her/hers). I’m so honored to be joining this community. Florida is my forever home (Go Gators), but I am very fortunate to have spent the past 5 years enjoying Colorado’s natural beauty and Atlanta’s urban forests. I recently graduated with my Masters in Public Health (MPH) and currently work as a Health Communications Specialist for the CDC. I am also a lifelong student, baker, sister, hiker, travel-enthusiast, and community builder. I love exploring, learning, and growing with others.

I am also a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), trained through BIG Power Yoga and registered through the Yoga Alliance. My yoga practice has offered me a space to simply be, and a space to deeply breathe. It found me in the midst of my darkest mental health days, and has really opened my eyes to all that my body can do for me. My yoga practice allows me to be in the experience (and creation) of coming home to my body, and connecting back to my true nature and self. Although I love teaching, I am a student first- I am always learning from my practice, from my community, and from mother nature.

More About Catherine

Catherine's Fitness Journey

You’ll usually find me on long walks with my black lab, working up a mess in the garden, or practicing/sharing the beauty of yoga with people I love. Other movement-based passions include exploring the outdoors, being on/near/in almost any body of water, and now (thanks to Clarity/Lexie) weightlifting!

What Body Positive Means to Catherine

Your body is your ally, your home, your truest friend. We ALL deserve to feel at home, at peace, and at ease with our bodies, no matter the size, shape, or situation. Our relationship with ourselves is the most important relationship we have- and we deserve to always feel safe, nourished, supported, and worthy within our own home.
