Hey there, I’m Angelique! I’m so glad you’re here. A little about me… I grew up in the Atlanta area and started teaching group fitness classes when I was 15 years old! Teaching helped me come out of my shell (jumping on stage to tell adults what to do was no joke!) and introduced me to one of my most helpful coping skills (can you tell I’m a therapist?). It also pushed me into some not-so-healthy exercise and eating patterns. My own therapist mentioned intuitive eating and HAES to me at some point in college, which was such a game changer in how I approached myself, food, and exercise. I pursued a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Tech and a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. I am also an ACE certified personal trainer, AFAA certified Group Exercise Instructor, and Yoga Alliance 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
I value the mind-body connection and enjoy creating workout plans tailored to the individual’s needs, goals, and strengths. I believe that movement can and should be enjoyable, stress-relieving, and encouraging, rather than painful, punishing, or shaming. I look forward to meeting you!
