👋🏻 Hey friends! I'm Alexandra, your friendly personal trainer at Clarity Fitness in Decatur! I am not your average personal trainer; I am your partner in this journey towards self-love, strength, and well-being to guide you on a path to a happier and stronger you. I work as a national level youth volleyball in Chamblee when I am not at Clarity and I absolutely love sharing my passions through teaching and coaching others. 🏋️‍♂️ As a certified exercise physiologist, with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology, I take a holistic approach to wellness, addressing both the physical and mental aspects of your wellbeing. I also have a personal training certificate, health coach certificate, and advanced first aid and CPR certificate. I specialize in eating disorders, chronic illness, metabolic health concerns, and chronic pain. 🌈 Body positivity is one of the important values that surround my coaching philosophy. I believe that health is not based off size, and my goal is to create a space where you feel celebrated and empowered, no matter where you're starting from. My true joy and passion is helping you discover the joy that can be found in movement and self-care. 💗 Together, we can rewrite YOUR narrative of fitness- focusing on health, happiness, and the incredible strength that resides within you rather than focusing on silly numbers. Alexandra's Fitness Journey

🏆 My fitness journey is a testament to resilience and transformation. In high school, I soared as a national-level athlete, driven by the adrenaline and exhilaration of competition. But- as it sometimes does- life threw me a curveball- a back injury that left me in a wheelchair and I watched as the sport I lived for became a distant dream. 💫 Adversity sparked a battle and a passion I was not expecting. Through my recovery from my injury, I became addicted to exercise and weight loss I fought not only to heal by body, but to tame this new addiction. Amid this struggle, I found strength I never knew I had. Through resilience and determination, I relearned how to walk, reclaiming a freedom I had once taken for granted. ❤️‍🩹 My journey from the depths of an eating disorder to a place of healing was a profound awakening. It led me to pursue a path of understanding- I delved into the complexities and beauties of both the human body and the human mind, earning a degree in kinesiology with a minor in psychology. This education was more than academics; it was a stepping stone to rebuilding my own life and offering hope to others. 🧠 With this wisdom, I embarked on a mission to redefine fitness for myself and for those around me. I discovered the magic of exercising in ways that nurture both the body and soul. No longer driven by extremes and numbers, I found joy in movement and nurturing myself rather than punishing myself. As I transformed my own life, I uncovered an unshakable passion – helping others embark on their own journeys of transformation. 💪 Today, I stand not just as a graduate but as a guide, a friend, and a mentor. Through the lens of my experiences, I help individuals rewrite their fitness stories, embracing the power of healthy, enjoyable exercise.
